The bad image (No. 1) is the monitor after running for about an hour. The blue shimmering dots show
up after a variable period of time (30 minutes to a couple hours.)
the good image (No. 2) is right after power cycling the monitor.
Connection in use at the time is a DVI cable. . The monitor also shows sudden tone changes when
connected to a VGA cable regardless of the PC it's running on. (not shown at this time)
